Jenny Tebbutt - Making the Difference for Those Who Learn Differently

Jenny Tebbutt is an Educational Consultant at Raising Achievement. She has 25 years' experience working with neurodiversity and at-risk learners and has authored two books on the subject: a Handbook for schools and a guide for parents. Jenny provides PLD opportunities to schools and organisations, and works with whānau and ākonga, from early childhood through to adults. This session explores the following kaupapa: - Understanding and identifying the additional needs of your learner. - What are underpinning cognitive weaknesses and how do they impact learners? - Support services you can access to assist learners achieve their potential. - Maximising achievement and potential through her approach.
